Garwood Laboratories, Inc and it's World Compliance Division offer complete Network Equipment Building Systems (NEBS) Compliance Testing. Garwood Laboratories is Verizon-Certified and provides customers with a true "One Stop Shop" for all of their telecommunications testing needs. We have the capability to simulate NEBS requirements to GR-63-CORE for Physical Protection Standards and GR-1089-CORE for EMC, Surge Standards & Electrical Safety. These requirements ensure the reliability, safety and performance of your network telecommunications equipment.
NEBS testing is required for vendors who wish to sell equipment to the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCS) and the Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLEC). Our Physical Testing facility in Pico Rivera is ISO 9002 Registered and is accredited to A2LA. Our Orange County EMC & Electrical Safety facility is NVLAP approved and FCC listed.
Garwood Laboratories also performs testing to all European ETSI 300-386 (EMI/EMC) and ETSI 300-019-XXX (Physical Protection) standards. Our expanded capabilities include fire spread, seismic, and testing for GR-1089 in our new 3 Meter Semi-Anechoic chamber, as well as:

Garwood Laboratories Inc has been accepted as a Verizon Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL). This now allows Garwood Labs to test products for submittal to Verizon for Telcordia NEBS GR-63-CORE and GR-1089-CORE test programs. Garwood is now proud to be among a mere handful of test laboratories in the country approved by Verizon for testing telecom products for utilization in Verizon networks.
